HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Today I came to work dressed as a witch of sorts... It was really an "Eternal Vampira" costume from KMart but I added a full, hooded cape and a witch's hat... Looks cute... I can't wait to get home and see my little men dressed up and heading off to school... After springing Daddy from hospital I'll be over at Uborka mingling w/Karen and the gang, enjoying cocktails for a tiny bit... What a great way to jump back into the singles scene dontcha think?? I look forward to the outing!!
Dilen is still really sick... he's been hovering btwn 103/104 and we even took him to the ER yesterday afternoon.... He was shaking and miserable - read 104.5 via ear when we were seen by triage nurse... they gave him motrin, did some blood work, got the fever down to 99 and sent us home after 3.5 hrs... Gee thanks guys but I could have given him motrin and saved myself a future bill for the $100 copay.... I have never had him have a fever that just would not break and stay down after a week... He gets glassy eyed, shakes and starts to become delirious - yabbering some 4 yo gibberish - I had almost been wishing they would admit him til we got the fever to come down and STAY down - instead they run blood/urine tests, tell us they are all fine/neg, called his pedi and sent us home....
I have been feeling a little poorly myself lately - an ever so slight feverish, flu-ish feeling and a headache over my eyes that just will NOT got completely away.... *sigh* Between this feeling and lack of sleep I have been feeling very brain dead this week - I don't think I can honestly hold an intelligent conversation for more then 2 min right now... I gotta get some sleep and maybe watch some news to catch up on current events before my brain entirely becomes mush... In the mean time, anyone have a topic they would like to discuss??? Til next time...
